Its formulation, along with a surfactant, promotes better spreading and wetting of the spray solution over the weed surface, supporting effective herbicidal action.

TEMBOZEN 34.4% w/w SC

Tembotrione is an HPPD-inhibiting herbicide, and it inhibits the enzyme 4-hydroxyphenylpyruvate dioxygenase in susceptible weeds. It disrupts carotenoid biosynthesis, which protects chlorophyll from photo-oxidative damage. As a result, weeds typically show rapid bleaching/whitening of leaves, followed by growth cessation and plant death.
