Fipronil 0.3% GR is a granular insecticide that contains fipronil as its active ingredient and is used for soil application in crops like rice and sugarcane to control a variety of pests, including stem borers, root borers, and termites. It works by disrupting the insect's central nervous system, causing paralysis and death through both contact and ingestion. The granular form allows for slow release into the soil, providing long-lasting pest control and promoting plant growth, which can lead to higher yields.
