• Trichoderma harzianum 1.0% WP (Wettable Powder) is a potent, eco-friendly biological fungicide and nematicide containing live spores of the beneficial fungus Trichoderma harzianum.
• It acts as a natural bio-control agent, protecting plant roots and seeds from soil-borne diseases by myco-parasitism and outcompeting harmful pathogens.

Key Features & Benefits

• Best Practices & Sourcing Ensure your soil is moist and contains organic matter to help the Trichoderma establish and multiply.
• Do not mix or apply simultaneously with synthetic chemical fungicides, as they can kill the beneficial spores.

Mode of Action

• Trichoderma harzianum 1% WP (Wettable Powder) is a powerful, eco-friendly bio-fungicide. Its mode of action relies on four primary mechanisms that outcompete and destroy harmful plant pathogens while boosting the crop's natural defenses.
• Substrate & Nutrient Competition: The beneficial fungi grow rapidly on roots and in the soil, actively consuming available carbon and nutrients. This starves harmful pathogens of their food sources and leaves them with no physical space to colonize the plant roots.
• Mycoparasitism: The Trichoderma hyphae actively sense pathogenic fungi (like Fusarium or Rhizoctonia), coil around them, and secrete lytic enzymes (such as chitinases and glucanases) that break down the pathogen's cell walls.
• Antibiosis: It produces secondary metabolites and volatile compounds that are highly toxic to pathogenic fungi and plant-parasitic nematodes, directly destroying them in the root zone.
• Induced Systemic Resistance (ISR): Trichoderma triggers the plant's own internal defense mechanisms, preparing the crop to fight off future infections more effectively. This process also stimulates root development and nutrient uptake

Crop & Disease/Pest Mapping

• Trichoderma harzianum - 1% WP is a highly versatile bio-fungicide and bio-nematicide suitable for almost all crops.
• It is highly effective for cereals, pulses, oilseeds, vegetables (e.g., tomatoes, chilies, okra, brinjal), fruits (e.g., banana, citrus, grapes), and cash crops like cotton, sugarcane, and spices
