·         Key Features & Benefits:

Ø  Advanced Micro-Capsule Technology: The (CS) formulation ensures a slow, controlled release of the active ingredient, extending the window of weed suppression.

Ø  Superior Weed Control: Broad-spectrum action eliminates major annual grasses and broadleaf weeds before they emerge, removing early competition for sunlight, water, and soil nutrients.

Ø  Long-Lasting Residual Action: Provides extended weed control for up to 40 days, which covers the most critical period of crop establishment.

Ø  Weather & Heat Resistant: Unlike older EC (Emulsifiable Concentrate) formulas, the micro-capsule shell minimizes photo-volatilization (evaporation) even in hot, sunny conditions.

Ø  High Crop Safety: Highly selective, meaning it prevents weed root and shoot development without causing phytotoxic effects to the main crop.

Ø  Stain & Odor Free: The modern CS formulation leaves no yellow staining on skin or spray equipment and produces minimal chemical odor.

Ø  Cost-Effective: Reduces the heavy reliance and expenses associated with manual labor and early-stage hand-weeding.

·         Crops suitability: AGRIVENTURE PENDI GOLD widely used on crops such as onions, cotton, chilli and soybeans.

·         Commonly used for: AGRIVENTURE PENDI GOLD used to control annual grasses, sedges, and certain broadleaf weeds.

·         Mode of entry: Absorbed primarily by the roots and shoots of germinating weed seedlings as they grow and pass through the treated soil layer.

·         Mode of action:

Ø  Capsule Suspension (CS): The micro-encapsulation ensures a slow, controlled release of the active ingredient. This formulation significantly reduces volatility, limits evaporation in hot temperatures, and prevents leaching.

Ø  Site of Action: It disrupts the assembly of microtubules during cell division, which stops the plant from growing and dividing its cells.

Ø  Absorption: Susceptible weeds absorb the chemical mainly through their roots and shoots as they germinate.

·         Mode of application: Use a knapsack or foot sprayer fitted with a Flat Fan or Flood Jet nozzle.

·         Dose: 4.5 - 5ml per 1 liter water or 70 ml in 15-liter water

·         Additional information:

Ø  Soil Condition: The soil must be moist for the herbicide to activate. If dry, apply the spray and give the field a light irrigation.

Ø  Application Window: Best applied as a pre-emergence spray within 0-3 days after sowing the main crop (before weeds emerge).

Ø  Target Weeds: Controls a wide range of annual grasses (like Echinochloa and Digitaria) and broadleaf weeds.
