• AGRIVENTURE CLOTH is a highly effective, broad-spectrum systemic insecticide
• Belonging to the neonicotinoid class, it targets the central nervous system of insects, paralyzing and eliminating major pests like whiteflies, jassids, thrips, and brown plant hoppers in crops such as cotton, paddy, and sugarcane.

Key Features & Benefits

• Strong Systemic Action: The chemical is absorbed rapidly through the plant's roots and foliage, translocating to all leaf surfaces to protect the crop from the inside out.
• Broad-Spectrum Control: Effectively eliminates multiple pests, including Whitefly, Aphids, Jassids, Thrips, Brown Plant Hoppers, Mealy Bugs, and Termites.
• Low-Dose Efficiency: Because it is a 50% concentrate, small quantities (typically 12 to 16 grams per acre for foliar spray) deliver strong results, making it highly cost-effective.
• Rainfast and Long-Lasting: The water-dispersible granule (WG) formula resists being washed away by rain and provides prolonged residual control.
• Versatile Application: Can be seamlessly applied as a foliar spray or a soil drench

Mode of Action

• Systemic Absorption: Once applied as a foliar spray or soil drench, it is rapidly absorbed by plant roots and foliage, moving through the vascular system to protect all plant tissues.
• Receptor Binding: Clothianidin binds directly to the nicotinic acetylcholine receptors (AChR) on the post-synaptic membrane.
• Nerve Disruption: It acts as an agonist by mimicking acetylcholine (the natural neurotransmitter that activates the nervous system). However, unlike natural acetylcholine, clothianidin is not broken down by the enzyme acetylcholinesterase.
• Continuous Firing: This triggers continuous nerve impulses and excitation, causing the insect to stop feeding, lose motor function, and experience paralysis followed by death.

Crop & Disease/Pest Mapping

• Paddy (Rice), Cotton, Sugarcane, Tea, Grapes, Cucurbits, Pome/stone fruits, and Soybeans.

Dosage per Acre

• 0.7gm/liter
• For seed treatment : 2gm/1kg seed"

Additional Information

• Oral and Contact Action: The insecticide takes effect both when the pest ingests it via treated plant sap and when it makes direct physical contact.
• Fast Knockdown: It stops pest damage (such as sucking or feeding) very rapidly, often before the insect dies, preventing crop damage.
• Spectrum: It is highly effective primarily against sucking and chewing pests like aphids, jassids, whiteflies, mealybugs, thrips, and soil-borne insects
