INTRODUCTION:-
Ø It is a leafy green or purple plant that is grown as an annual vegetable
crop.
Ø They are rich sources of vitamins A and C, they also contain minerals like
phosphorus, potassium, calcium, sodium and iron.
Ø Cabbage can be eaten both raw and cooked.
Ø In India, cabbage is mainly grown in winter in the plains.
1] Sowing time - September to October is the ideal time for planting in
plains.
2] Seed rate - 200 grams - 250 grams per acre
3] Spacing - For early season
crop use spacing of 45 x 45 cm while for late season crop use spacing of 60 x
45 cm.
